A baby keepsake box offers a special place for soon-to-be mothers or new mothers to store precious treasures belonging to baby or associated with being a new mom. Upon request a baby keepsake box can be designed to match the theme of the baby's room with matching colors or designs. To add to the uniqueness of each box, the baby's name, if known at the time of order, can be incorporated either secretly or plainly for all to see within the painting itself. Upon completion of the painting, it is sealed with a clear gloss and the inside of the box is lined with felt that is complimentary in color to the painting itself. Keepsake boxes come in various sizes and shapes and are made of pine and stained to a golden richness. What's right for you will depend upon how elaborate you want your keepsake box. As is all of my work, my keepsake boxes are one-of-a-kind, and on the back of each one I give them their own unique identity, most usually in the form of a name or inspirational phrase, something that comes to mind and inspires me at some point during the creative process. Lastly, on the inside lid of each baby keepsake box I attach a small poem that explains in a very creative way the purpose behind this unique treasure chest.
